Aspira AC 4 High Pressure & Soft Wash Cleaning Drone

Our flagship cleaning drone, the Aspira AC 4 stands head and shoulders above our competitors. Equipped with a 3:1 Power-to-Weight ratio for class-leading stability and propeller redundancy for peace of mind whilst flying in even the most challenging of spaces.

With Advanced Active Surface Tracking that can maintain a constant distance from the cleaning face (even if the face is moving) and the ability to fly in heavy urban environments with disrupted or zero GPS signal - The AC 4 is the drone that can complete 100% of any cleaning job that it is challenged with.

Fast setup

Folding lockable arms can be unpacked and operational on-site in just minutes. Quick release batteries can be replaced easily.

Improve Safety

No need for rope access, scaffolding or ladders. Keep the feet of your team firmly on the ground whilst your drone does all the cleaning.

Reduce Costs

Save money by not having to hire boom-arms, cherry pickers or installing scaffolding to give your cleaning team access.

Increase Efficiency

Cleaning is reduced to hours and days rather than days and weeks. Reduce shutdown time and reopen access to areas faster.

CLIVE Features

Our autonomous advanced flight controller is included in the AC 4.2 and AC 4 Ultimate

Advanced Surface Tracking

INCLUDED WITH
ASPIRA AC 4.2 ASPIRA AC 4 ULTIMATE

Our Advanced Surface Tracking expands on Collision Detection by visualising the surface, locking on to it, and then allowing strafing movements as required.

This allows a pilot who is flying 20 metres up a building and has lost their depth perception to effectively position the drone a set distance from the wall and continue to spray safely. Our technology goes beyond object avoidance.

When cleaning locked-out blades of a wind turbine, it is quite common for them to flex as much as four to five metres. With Advanced Surface Tracking, the drone can remain a safe two metres from the blade at all times.

GPS Denied Flight

INCLUDED WITH
ASPIRA AC 4 ULTIMATE

All drones fly on the principle of pin-pointing their position via a GPS signal. This can be very accurate and is usually very reliable. But there are scenarios where it is unusable or can not be relied on. CLIVE provides a unique solution to keep you flying  and allows you to complete 100% of your cleaning project regardless of the surrounding environment.

Common causes of GPS failure are satellite signals reflecting off surfaces like glass with create interference or false signals. Interference can also occur from high electromagnetic sources such as hospital equipment or high-energy electric cabling running inside of a buildings structure.

Using a mixture of RADAR, cameras and the autonomous calculations of CLIVE, our drones can operate without GPS being a decisive factor in your operation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will pressure washing damage wind turbine blade coatings (LEP)?

No, At operational heights, the system is engineered for low-pressure, low-flow output typically delivered through a 1/4 inch line.

This ensures the kinetic impact of the water remains well below the erosion threshold for Leading Edge Protection (LEP).

For offshore or coastal assets, we utilize specialized desalinization solutions to neutralize salt crust without abrasive force.

How do I avoid invalidating solar panel warranties?

Traditional scrubbing or high-pressure “point” cleaning can often void warranties.

Aspira uses a Soft Wash methodology; combining low PSI with high flow rates to flush away contaminants without mechanical stress on the glass.

The system is compatible with heated, de-ionized water for first-time deep cleans, ensuring a residue-free finish that maintains the panel’s refractive integrity and manufacturer compliance.

What happens in the event of a motor or blade failure?

Our AC4.2 drone utilizes a redundant 8-motor (Octocopter) configuration.

Unlike standard quadcopters, this propulsion system is designed to maintain stable flight and execute a controlled, safe landing even if a motor fails.

This redundancy is a core requirement for working over expensive industrial infrastructure.

How does the drone maintain stability near buildings without GPS?

High-rise environments often suffer from so called Urban Canyon GPS interference.

Our AC4 Ultimate drone utilise GPS-independent surface sensing and RADAR to maintain a fixed distance from the structure.

The AC4 Ultimate sees the building in real-time and adjusts its position relative to the surface, not a satellite, ensuring a steady hover even in turbulent wind conditions.

How do you manage spray drift and environmental liability?

Drift is managed through a combination of precision nozzle selection and calculated standoff distances.

As part of our comprehensive operator training, we provide the specific formulas to calculate drift based on wind speed and height.

We also provide standard operating procedures (SOPs) for public notification and environmental boundary setting to ensure all site-specific liabilities are mitigated.

How can I handle privacy and on-site security when using a drone?

Data security is handled at the hardware level. All flight data and camera feeds are processed locally on the device with no remote uplinks or cloud-based storage.

Our systems are essentially air-gapped; there is no data scraping and no background transmission.

For high-rise commercial work where privacy is a priority, the camera feed can be completely disabled, allowing the drone to operate solely via its LiDAR proximity sensors and radar.

Where is the hardware manufactured and how is the data protected?

Aspira is a British manufacturer. We prioritize sovereign supply chain integrity, utilizing British safe components and domestic engineering.

In an era where “data-scraping” and foreign hardware vulnerabilities are a major concern for national infrastructure, we offer a transparent, secure alternative.

Because we build and support our tech in the UK, you have full visibility over the hardware’s origin and total control over your operational data.
