INTELLIGENT DRONE FLIGHT CONTROLS

CLIVE : The Autonomous Intelligence Behind Aspira Drones

Move beyond manually controlled drones. With CLIVE acting as your wingman, you receive realtime feedback on collision avoidance, assistance in precision spraying and the ability to fly in areas that do not have a solid GPS signal.

How does CLIVE help me operate my drone?

Through our advanced control algorithms that have been designed and built in-house at Aspira, coupled with cameras and radar, your drone gains more intelligence than just being operated manually. CLIVE is embedded into the drone itself and doesn't incur a monthly charge for its use.

With our Collision Detection System your drone detects an object and moves out of its way or remains in place to evaluate the danger.

Although Collision Detection is suitable for a variety of applications, in our advanced drones, it forms just one part of our CLIVE intelligent control system.

Our Advanced Surface Tracking expands on Collision Detection by visualising the surface, locking on to it, and then allowing strafing movements as required.

This allows a pilot who is flying 20 metres up a building and has lost their depth perception to effectively position the drone a set distance from the wall and continue to spray safely.

All drones navigate their surroundings through a combination of GPS and a built-in compass. In many instances, this is fine, especially in low-density areas with no interference.

However, operating in urban environments poses a range of challenges that require more advanced solutions. Common problems exist where compasses become confused by localised power or metal work within walls or underground.

GPS also requires constant direct line of sight to operate.

Aspira is proud of our ground-breaking work to produce a drone that can operate in such challenging environments. Utilising CLIVE, our system takes the inputs from Cameras, Sensors, and Radar which are then fed through our software to ingest the environment it is in.
